Bristol City Ladies have re-signed striker Katie Robinson on a two-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Robinson began her career in the club’s academy and made her debut in 2018, joining the first team as a teenager.

She signed for Brighton two years later, scoring 10 goals in 68 appearances, before joining Women’s Super League side Aston Villa and more recently Everton on loan.

The 23-year-old won the first of five England caps in November 2022 in a 1-1 friendly draw with Norway and was the youngest member of Sarina Wegman’s squad for the 2023 World Cup.

Bristol City coach Charlotte Healy said: “Over the past two seasons, Katie has gained some fantastic experience both domestically and internationally playing in the WSL and as part of the England World Cup squad.

“She has grown as a player and knows what it takes to play at this level. Her experience will be really important for our team in the second half of the season.”

Bristol City is third in WSL 2, three points behind Birmingham City in the second automatic promotion place.
