The committee will be chaired by FAO President Mike Jones, who will be joined by Vice-Chairman Will Lloyd Williams and Vice-Chairmen Jill Powell, Mark Adams and Graham Evans.
It will also feature three former bosses – Peter Rees, David Griffiths and Kieran O’Connor, as well as life advisors Ron Bridges, Ken Hughes, David Alun Jones, Philip Jones, Ken Tucker, Bob Waygood and Chris Whiteley.
“The Strategic Advisory Committee, in an advisory capacity, works alongside FAW leadership to provide informed vision, constructive challenge and strategic support, ensuring the organization remains focused on sustainable growth, high performance and long-term impact,” FAW said in a statement.
“A key part of her role is to provide appropriate and constructive challenge, and help test, enhance and improve strategic plans.
“Members work collaboratively with FAW staff, fellow committee members and key stakeholders to support effective implementation of FAW strategies.
“The committee also supports the monitoring and evaluation of strategic objectives, helping to ensure progress remains consistent with the FAW’s ambitions and delivers a meaningful impact for football in Wales.”
