Khabib Nurmagomedov’s former manager, Ali Abdelaziz, has stirred the pot by floating the former UFC heavyweight champion’s name as a potential challenger to Jake Paul. Paul’s team, Most Valuable Promotions, and partner Netflix are reportedly scrambling to save the event after filing a civil suit in Miami-Dade County, accusing Davis of multiple violent crimes. Authorities are investigating, and the promotion has stated that the future of the fight will depend on the results.

With the main event still in limbo, several names have emerged as potential replacements. Francis Ngannou tops the list due to his crossover appeal and previous boxing experience against Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. Nate Diaz and Ryan Garcia have also been mentioned among other options.
