Kieron Bowie: Hibernian striker coveted by Italian club Verona

Che Adams: The 29-year-old Leicester-born player is a favorite of Scotland manager Steve Clarke. He moved to Torino two years ago after participating in the English Premier League with Southampton. This season, he scored five goals in 24 matches with his sixteenth-placed team.

Josh Doig: The 23-year-old from Edinburgh is on his second Serie A club, following his move from Verona to Sassuolo in 2024. Doig has made 22 appearances, 18 of them starts, this season for his 11th-placed side.

Lewis Ferguson: The midfielder began his career with local club Hamilton Academy and then spent four seasons with Aberdeen before being sold to Bologna in 2022. Ferguson, who has 21 caps for Scotland, became captain the following October and led his side to the Coppa Italia win last year. He participated in 25 matches this season with the eighth-placed team.

Billy Gilmore: The 24-year-old started his career with Rangers but moved to Chelsea when he was still a youngster. After a loan to Norwich City, he moved to Brighton & Hove Albion before being sold to Napoli in 2024 – on the same day as his Scotland international team-mate McTominay. He helped Napoli win the league last season, but this season he participated in only 12 matches, of which only six were starts.

Scott McTominay: The Lancaster-born midfielder came through the youth ranks at Manchester United and made 255 appearances before being sold to Napoli. The 29-year-old was nominated for the Ballon d’Or last season for his role in the team’s title win. McTominay has participated in 31 matches this season for his club, all but two starts, and scored nine goals, leaving the defending champions currently in fourth place.

Lennon Miller: Born in Wishaw, the 19-year-old son of the former Scotland striker Lee came through the youth ranks with Motherwell, where he made his debut just days after turning 16. After 76 appearances, he was sold to Udinese in August for a club record fee. He made 12 appearances, four of which started for his 10th-placed team.
