✅ **What You’ll Learn**:

Kyle Larson arrived in Tulsa chasing another gold digger with his kids racing alongside him. As the 2026 Tulsa Shootout passes its final stretch, Audrey and Owen Larson talk about where they want to go with racing in the future.

The Larson family has had a busy week. Kyle focused on the Winged Outlaw division and made his way to the A-Main finish. Owen ran in multiple classes and made his own special appearance in the Class A Restricted. Audrey competed in heats and heats, and reached the LCQs in the Junior Sprints.

Before the final night, the trio joined FloRacing’s Clinton Boyles for a tour around the expo. Asked:

“Do you want to race dragsters one day or do you want to stay involved in NASCAR?”

Audrey replied:

“Be a race car driver… Sprint Cars.”

Attention turned to Owen, and when asked if he wanted the same thing, he said:

“Yes.” (6:55 onwards)

From there, the exchange turned into a sibling rivalry as they competed over who was the better driver. The Tulsa Shootout results tell their own story. Seven-year-old Owen Larson finished fourth in the Class A Restricted class after starting third, and remained in contention deep into the race.

Audrey’s run was cut from the A-Main after an LCQ fight in her first tryout in Tulsa. Meanwhile, Kyle Larson lost ground in the Winged Outlaw division, as Dyson chased Pursley late, before dropping to fourth after making contact and watching Pursley collect his first gold digger.

Larson’s two children spent time wandering around the fine print. Owen Larson logged more laps, based on another season of micros. Audrey Larson balances track, field hockey and softball.

When Kyle Larson was asked how it felt to watch both kids racing at such a young age, and if there were any nerves, he said in the interview:

“I don’t get nervous as far as the seriousness of it at all, but I would say… when they’re running in front, I don’t want them to jump in late or like Audrey today, fall behind and miss the transfer because I know how depressed and sad they are. And you never want to see your son depressed or sad. So, that’s where I get nervous.” (3:26 onwards)

Kyle added that watching them race in Tulsa made him feel nervous and excited, just like the butterflies he felt when he was vying for the win.

“So, it’s really cool to see them do a better job than I thought they would do this week as well. So, it’s been great.”

As for the two-time Cup champion, his own calendar has barely slowed down. Since wrapping up his second NASCAR Cup Series title, Kyle Larson has piled up dirt races from Placerville to Turkey Night, added a highlight-reel win at High Limit International in Australia, back home in Tulsa, and is now headed toward the Chili Bowl next.
