Leeds Rhinos crush Hull KR in Las Vegas with four-star Maika Sifu

After attempts by Croft and Keenan Palasia, Sifu seized the ball from under his own posts and ran 70 meters for an attack that ended with Ryan Hall scoring.

Hull KR had a try disallowed for an earlier tackle before half-time, but Leeds continued to dominate in the second half – with Croft adding a sixth try before Sifo completed his hat-trick.

His fourth try came after Joe Burgess’s consolation for the Robins 15 minutes from time – and then a late Cooper Jenkins double sealed a resounding win for Leeds.

“The people I feel sorry for are the fans who paid their hard-earned money to come here today and watch this,” Peters said.

“Spending or saving money to come and watch their team play and we perform like that, it’s not good enough.

“We all have to look at ourselves – I’m at the top of that – and see why we had that performance.

“We need to make sure we act beyond words and do something about it, because if that’s the template we’re going to do this season, it’s going to be a long season.”

Delighted Leeds manager Brad Arthur said his side “had a ball” and praised the “genuine hunger” of his players.

He added: “We wanted to make sure we were proud of ourselves and the fans and that we did the competition justice.”

“We came here to make a statement and we did that tonight,” Sifu told Sky Sports.

“The boys, every one of us, did our job tonight.”
