Lucid Collection Its production and sales increased significantly last year as it continued to increase production of its new Gravity SUV.
The all-electric vehicle maker said Monday that its deliveries increased last year to 15,841 units, up 55% compared to 2024, including a more than 70% year-on-year increase during the fourth quarter.
The automaker also achieved a previously low production target of around 18,000 vehicles in 2025, down from initial expectations of 20,000 vehicles. It produced 18,378 units last year, including 8,412 electric vehicles during the fourth quarter.
The company said much of this increase is likely due to the prolonged ramp-up of the Gravity SUV, which has faced a slew of challenges, primarily supply chain shortages.
In addition to the challenges faced by Lucid, electric vehicle manufacturers face industry-wide issues such as increasing costs due to tariffs and slowing expected sales of electric vehicles, as well as regulatory changes that negatively impact sales and profits, including the end of federal incentives for consumers.
