Manchester United 2008 vs Arsenal 2026 – who will win?

Then Rooney, the all-time top scorer for United and England.

Although Carlos Tevez’s time at Old Trafford was not prolific, he did score 14 goals in the Premier League in the 2007-08 season.

It was a line forward to fear. To this point in the season, Ronaldo has scored 22 goals, Tevez 12 and Rooney nine.

Who owns Arsenal? Victor Gyukiris, a striker who may continue to excel, but so far has not lived up to his £55m transfer fee.

Bukayo Saka is clearly a world-class player out wide. But it is difficult to defend Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard or Noni Madueke.

Gyokeris and Martinelli have scored nine goals this season, while Saka and Trossard have scored seven goals.

In midfield, Declan Rice is considered one of the best players in the world today, playing alongside Martin Odegaard and Martin Zobimendi.

But Owen Hargreaves, Michael Carrick and Paul Scholes were brilliant for Alex Ferguson.

Did we mention that Ryan Giggs came off the bench in the Champions League final too? It’s United 2008, without a doubt.
