📌 **What You’ll Learn**:
AI-powered marketing platform Nectar Social announced Thursday that it has raised a $30 million funding round led by Menlo Ventures and its Anthology fund, which was created alongside Anthropic.
The company, which officially came out of stealth last year, is a proxy operating system for marketers. It told TechCrunch that it uses autonomous AI agents to help brands manage “social activity, moderation, creator workflows, competitive intelligence, and end-to-end business conversations.” It also has data partnerships with companies like Meta and Reddit that allow Nectar’s agent to pull and aggregate data in one place from different platforms, instead of brands needing to use different tools to manage different platforms.
Nectar Social was founded by sisters Misbah and Farah Araizi, former employees of Meta. Misbah, CEO, told TechCrunch that this round will help the company expand and hire more across applied AI, engineering and go-to-market.
“The purchasing conversation has moved to social, and no human team can staff every location where it happens,” Misbah said. “We are accelerating our category leadership in building the operating system that allows brands to be seen everywhere.”
Clients include Liquid Death, Figma and elf Beauty, the company said. Other investors in the round include Gwyneth Paltrow’s Kinship Ventures, GV, and True Ventures.
