📌 **What You’ll Learn**:

Why didn’t you insist on the “Denzel has to kiss” scene in my movie Equalizer? Neflik47
Well, if I go back to the first equalizer, it comes to my character asking permission to do its own ‘equality’. You were his boss and trained him, so kissing him would be completely inappropriate. However, if someone is looking forward to seeing me kiss Mr. Washington, please whisper it in his ear.

I heard you’re a big fan of knitting. What is your greatest knitted creation? TopTramp
Knitting has eclipsed pottery in the past three years. I go to a local pottery studio, do what I can in a hurry, and get my creativity out there. Knitting was a wonderful thing. I’ll make simple squares without having to count the stitches, then sew them all together. I must have made about a dozen blankets, most of which are still in a box upstairs. If I get another job in TV – which I hope to do – it will make you sit a bit, so knitting is a good mobile craft.

You’re great at playing good guys and bad guys – how do you choose? Gulliver
My work chooses me. The mark of a really good actor is that he has a wide range and doesn’t appear in the same role over and over again. I’m happy to play what I’m offered – except for The Fighter, when all I was offered was older, bad women. I don’t want to do that anymore.

I played a lot of blue-Collar characters. Do you have the desire to play a really rich and wealthy person? bititbit
definitely! I am death To do this kind of work. I’ve been asking for years: “Please, can I play the princess? The glorious, kind, benevolent Queen?” I want beautiful, luxurious fashion, perhaps from another period. Years ago, I directed a film called A Time of Destiny, which is set in the 1940s. Not all actors can fit into old roles because they feel too modern, but I can play the good and the bad – past, present and future.

How was filming the police drama Homicide: Life on the Street? [the series ran from 1993 to 1999]And were you able to hang out with the actors after that? UberSil67
The cast was almost all male, so maybe that answers the question. Did they invite me to bars with them – the single mother of a seven-year-old? No, we spent many years together, so I kept a lot of those guys close to me. But I don’t do what I do for the party afterward. I’m more interested in this process.

How did you get the role of Alice Eklund-Ward in The Fighter? Lyubach
I accepted because David [O Russell, director] He really, really wanted me to be his Alice. Then I met the real Alice Ward, who came from a very different socio-economic background to my mother’s mother, but there was something of my mother’s mother in her, so I found a way to become her. I wasn’t more than 10 years older than most of the nine people who played Alice’s children, but these movies are for you.

What goes through your mind when you stand up to accept your Oscar? Mr. Sobaldrick
One loses one’s mind. I won a lot of prestigious awards for The Fighter that season, and I sat in this giant theater thinking, “Well, it sure is He is Possible.” Kirk Douglas came out for the show [for best supporting actress]He opened the envelope and called my name. I was so happy to meet him – that was all I could think about. She turned to the house, which you can see in most theaters by looking slightly above your sight. In the Dolby theatre, you have to lift your chin like you’re about to climb Mount Everest. Every actor, director, and producer you know is staring at you. Then I cursed, and I’m still sorry that I cursed. I curse all the time, but you can’t curse on network TV. Thank goodness for the 10 second delay, which was introduced for idiots like me. However, winning the Oscar was not good for me or my career. I never dreamed of it, never wanted it, and I had a much better career before I won.

What are your memories? To film the ABC Western series The Young Riders? I loved your character Emma, and it was a shame she left so early! The pure_
I agree. It was a complete disgrace. I loved being Emma. I loved being in Arizona with the horses. I love that people still like this show, 35 years later. Emma was a kind-hearted and hardworking woman. I don’t know why he doesn’t see me like this more often. I grew up reading Little House on the Prairie and other Laura Ingalls Wilder books, so I loved living in that new Western world with the costumes, the long dresses, the corsets, and the hairstyles.

What are your memories of playing Holly in Prisoners? Sagarmatha 1953
Holly is misunderstood. These days, people leave or move on before the end of the movie. I implore you to watch the film until the end, because Holly lays out her entire history in one speech. You might think she’s a bad person, but she’s just protecting her child, which is admirable.

In the movie Olympus Has Fallen, how the North Koreans took over the White House, but suddenly they did Incompetent once Gerard Butler showed up? zerkalo
This is exactly how it works. Jerry Butler doesn’t lose in pictures.

Which of your films are you most proud of? Skill wizard
I’ve made a lot of films that no one has ever heard of, and they’re very, very good. I couldn’t recommend watching my new movie The Knife more highly, in which I play a detective who is neither good nor evil. She’s a woman doing her job, which is something that interests me a lot. I also have a smaller part in King Ivory, a brilliant, beautiful, painful and honest portrait of the fentanyl crisis in the United States. There’s a wonderful, fantastical little film I made many years ago called Racing Daylight, written and directed by Nicole Quinn, where I get to play a character from the present and the past. There’s another sweet, sweet, sensitive film called Francine, where we meet a woman on the day she’s released from a long prison sentence and watch her try to integrate back into society, which I’m very proud of.

I said the best thing you can do is take a good nap. What’s the weirdest place you’ve ever been caught sneaking 40 winks? Turanga by night2
Oh, it’s not sneaky at all. If someone finds me sleeping, I’m proud of myself for being able to do the thing any doctor will tell you: get more rest. Just don’t let me miss lunch. And don’t miss me when you need me on set!
