📌 **What You’ll Learn**:

Jannik Sinner continued his impressive run by defeating Alex Michelsen 7-5, 7-6 (7-4) at the Miami Open.

The world number two Italian claimed his 25th and 26th set win respectively at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament with his victory over Corentin Moutet on Monday, setting a new record.

Sinner reeled off a 28-set win over Michelsen but didn’t do it his own way. After winning the first set, he lost 5-2 in the second before coming back to win the tiebreak.

The four-time Grand Slam champion has won the last two Masters 1000 tournaments – in Indian Wells earlier this month and Paris in November – without dropping a set.

In the women’s draw, Coco Gauff will face Belinda Bencic in the quarter-finals later on Tuesday, while Karolina Muchova was the first to qualify for the semi-finals, beating Canadian Victoria Mpoko 7-5, 7-6 (7-5).

Third seed Elena Rybakina ended Talia Gibson’s run late Monday with a comprehensive 6-2, 6-2 victory to advance to the quarter-finals.

The 21-year-old Australian has won 11 of her past 12 matches, but has been overtaken by two-time Grand Slam champion Rybakina, who will face fifth seed Jessica Pegula on Wednesday.
