Mohamed Salah: The Liverpool striker will leave at the end of the season

Salah played a key role in reviving Liverpool’s fortunes on the field during the past nine years.

He helped the club win two Premier League titles, a Champions League, a Club World Cup, a European Super Cup, an FA Cup and two Premier League Cups, as well as the Charity Shield.

Salah scored 255 goals in 435 appearances for the Reds, placing him third on the club’s all-time top scorers list.

He has won the Premier League Golden Boot on four occasions and has been named the PFA Player of the Year three times – in 2018, 2022 and 2025.

Salah also praised the support he received from Liverpool fans who “showed me up during the best time of my career” and “stood by me in the most difficult times.”

He added: “It is something I will never forget and will always take with me. Leaving is never easy.”

“You gave me the best time of my life, and I will always be one of you. The club will always be my home for me and my family. Thank you for everything. Because of all of you, I will never walk alone.”
