More late fluctuations in the best ever Scottish Premiership title race

From a huge game on Wednesday, to an even bigger game on Sunday afternoon. First they travel to second place when Hearts go to Ibrox to face Rangers.

Derek McInnes’ side won there earlier in the season, for the first time since 2014. They also beat Rangers at Tynecastle, also 2-1, in December.

But Ruhl’s men have been unbeaten since. In fact, they have drawn twice and won seven. It’s a revamped form that seems a world away from a team that was 13 points adrift in the title race under Russell Martin.

“I think it’s a very good point [against Motherwell] But as Danny Rohl mentioned, there’s a huge game on Sunday [against Hearts] “This looks like a must-win,” said former Rangers midfielder Derek Ferguson.

Celtic will be watching and crossing their fingers and hoping for a draw.

They will be fresh after the match against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. The last time they won, they won thanks to a late penalty from Kelechi Iheanacho.

They will need to perform better than they did against Livingston. Although they peppered the visitors’ goal with shots, a lack of cutting-edge ability will be a concern.
