He continued:

Former 49ers DB responds to Christian McCaffrey’s critics

As Christian McCaffrey enters his 30s, the same negative talking points are swirling around him: he’s constantly injured, losing form, etc.

But during an episode of his podcast The Grit Code on Wednesday, former All-Pro safety Donte Whitner dispelled those notions:

“When you hear people say, ‘Christian McCaffrey is slowing down,’ shut up. You don’t know football, you’ve never watched football, you’ve never played football. Christian McCaffrey is cementing himself into legendary status in my opinion.”
