NFL fans react to Fernando Mendoza’s LinkedIn cover photo

Fernando Mendoza’s Indiana team earned a comprehensive 56-22 win over Oregon in the Peach Bowl on Friday. During the game, analyst David Lombardi shared a screenshot of Mendoza’s LinkedIn profile, where he had the San Francisco skyline as his cover photo.

When fans on social media discovered Mendoza’s activity on LinkedIn, they had some unique reactions.

Mendoza began his collegiate career at Cal in 2022. He played three years with the Golden Bears before transferring to Indiana for the 2025 season.

Mendoza is having a great run with the Hoosiers. He won the Heisman Trophy earlier this year and now has a chance to win the national title.

Many believe that Mendoza is expected to become the top pick in this year’s NFL draft, if he decides to turn pro.

Fernando Mendoza’s Indiana team will face the Miami Hurricanes in the national title game on January 19. The CFP Final will begin at 7:30 PM ET from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

The Hurricanes beat Ole Miss in the CFP semifinals. Their offense will be led by star quarterback Carson Beck.
