There’s only one place to start.
Saracens’ hot-heel winger Noah Calori announced himself with five impressive tries in his Prem debut and ended the weekend with a call-up to train with the England senior squad.
The 19-year-old covered 233 meters with ball in hand in a 65-14 thrashing, but just as impressive for England coach Steve Borthwick will be the vertical distance he covered.
Calori is 6 feet 4 inches tall, but he rises to unprecedented heights in pursuit of the high ball.
In addition to crossing five times himself, he was awarded a penalty when – while trying to get a cross from Owen Farrell over his head – he was taken out by opposite number Tom O’Flaherty, far below him.
Calori is also a slippery runner – having beaten 10 defenders – and showed a sharp footballing mind, setting up a second-half effort for Ben Earl with a well-placed player inside.
Although Borthwick has delivered less to them than his predecessor Eddie Jones, he is not the first star to be invited to the England coaching staff.
Marcus Smith, Jacob Umaga, Josh Hodge, Zach Mercer and Ted Hill received similar call-ups.
Australia and Leicester City player James O’Connor, who scored a hat-trick on his debut for the Wallabies as an 18-year-old, can also attest that not all teenagers are getting the full hype.
But Caluori’s unique ability seems easy to bring into the game and particularly difficult to counter.
Despite Saracens boss Mark McCall’s attempts, Sir Alex Ferguson-style, to temper expectations, we are certain to see more from him.
Not just on the field either. For a rebranded club in a rebranded league, it could be a new Gen Z boss, with a thriving exhibition show and a busy TikTok production.
It may also be a good thing that his Swiss father Andreas works in sports marketing.
