Before the match, large fans staged a protest, sweeping most of the Celtic fans out of the stadium. Ironically, these fans do not believe their club – and its hierarchy – operates the way Celtic should.

However, the coach stuck to his preferred 3-4-3 formation, with only one central defender – Trusty – starting between the two full-backs.
If things had gone the other way around here, the demands to stop this approach would have been deafening.
“He was under incredible pressure,” former Parkhead goalkeeper Pat Bonner told Sportsound. “He’s giving himself some time [with the result].
“It will be really interesting who he brings in next January. He just has to strengthen those defensive qualities and he might bring in a player to enhance that.
“I’m sure they have to do their homework to bring in a couple of players who can really enhance the game and this team.
“If they don’t, more questions will be asked.”
