💡 **What You’ll Learn**:

Nothing, the Tiger Global-backed appliance company, is opening its first retail store in India, its largest market. The store is located in Bengaluru, where a large portion of Nothing’s user base in India is concentrated, the company said.

The new two-story location will showcase Nothing Products and other projects. Customers will also be able to purchase hardware products and other merchandise from the store and select custom items.

“We wanted to create a fun space. It’s kind of inspired by all the parts associated with the brand. For example, the factory: if you buy a product, there’s like a production line that the product comes out of. We also show the machines where phones go through testing, like USB port testing or water resistance testing. So we just wanted to bring that world together,” said company co-founder and CEO Karl Pei.

The store will feature products from both Nothing and CMF, its budget brand, which launched last year. It is worth noting that CMF is headquartered in India and has a joint venture with local Indian ODM (Original Design Manufacturer), Optiemus.

Bee stated that both brands differ in terms of the products they offer, which fall in different price ranges, as well as the audience they target.

“There is nothing more specialized at a higher price. CMF is more than that [targeted towards] block. You know it’s huge, but it’s not like the rebrand-ready products that usually happen at this price point. “They are also products that we pay a lot of attention to.”

India was the strongest market ever, with a smartphone market share of more than 2%, analyst firm IDC told TechCrunch last year. It also noted that Nothing was the fastest-growing brand in the country in the second quarter of 2025, with shipments growing 85% year-over-year.

Other device makers are building ambitious retail stores in India as well. Apple is set to open its sixth store in the country this month, which is located in Borivali, Mumbai, for example.

This is the first Nothing store outside of London, where the company is headquartered. The startup said it plans to open two more stores in Tokyo and New York, but did not provide timelines for opening.

The company raised $200 million in Series C funding at a $1.3 billion valuation last year, led by Tiger Global, along with investors such as GV, Highland Europe, EQT, Latitude, I2BF and Tapestry. Nothing worth $450 million has been raised yet.
