Nottingham Forest They agreed to a deal for Manchester City Goalkeeper Stefan Ortega is worth up to £500,000.

Sean Dyche’s side are also trying to sign Inter Milan midfielder Davide Fratesi, initially on loan with the option of a permanent transfer.

The 26-year-old has played 33 international matches for Italy and played 19 matches for Inter this season.

German Ortega, 33, is currently ranked third at the Etihad Stadium behind Gianluigi Donnarumma and James Trafford.

His contract expires this summer and he has not yet participated with Pep Guardiola’s team this season.

He played 22 matches last season, including participation in the Club World Cup last July, and a defeat in the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace.

Forest, who are in the Europa League qualifiers and are 17th in the Premier League, have already signed Napoli striker Lorenzo Luca on loan and Crystal Palace rejected a £35m bid for striker Jean-Philippe Mateta.
