✅ Here’s what you’ll learn:

It has been clear all season that Djokovic’s aging body is, understandably, unable to withstand the hardships needed to win the biggest prizes in the sport like he used to.

He still has the technical quality to challenge most ATP Tour tours, as demonstrated by reaching the semi-finals at all four Grand Slams this year.

Djokovic was unable to complete his Australian Open semi-final against Alexander Zverev, which came three days after his courageous victory over Alcaraz while hampered by a leg injury.

He also moved on to the semifinals at the French Open and Wimbledon, but faded physically after being unable to break Sinner.

At the US Open last month, Djokovic admitted he “ran out of energy” after a three-set defeat to Alcaraz.

Winning a 25th major championship – which would see him overtake Australia’s Margaret Court as the only record holder – is the biggest priority at the end of his career.

Achieving that goal at the season-opening Slam in Melbourne, where he has already won a record 10 times in the men’s tournament, is his next major goal.

Now Djokovic must decide whether extending or shortening this season will help his ambitions in 2026.
