Robert Kraft in new Super Bowl ad: You

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft responded Tuesday morning on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” to reports that he will not be inducted into this year’s NFL Hall of Fame class ahead of his team’s Super Bowl appearance this weekend.

“What matters to me is that we win on Sunday,” Kraft told CNBC.

His reported omission from the Hall of Fame resulted in him joining former Patriots coach Bill Belichick, who was also reportedly not included in this year’s class, causing an uproar over the snub.

The honorees will be fully revealed Thursday during the NFL Honors Ceremony in San Francisco, just days before the Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

“I can’t talk about issues where other people vote or do things,” Craft said Tuesday.

As a pair, Kraft and Belichick led the Patriots to six Super Bowl victories.
