Chart-topping pop star and actor Renee Rapp lashed out at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Donald Trump with obscenities on stage.

Rapp was performing in Portland, Oregon, where Trump is trying to send National Guard troops, claiming that the city is a “war zone.” There have been ongoing protests outside the city’s ice facility in recent months.

While performing in Portland, Rapp told the concert audience, “At the same time, there are some other people that shouldn’t be here…so let’s make some things absolutely clear. Fuck Ice. Fuck this administration. Fuck Trump.”

She is one of the fastest-rising pop stars in the US, earning a No. 1 album in the UK in August for her second album Bite Me, which reached No. 3 in the US. Raab joins a number of musicians opposing Ice as anti-immigration crackdowns intensify in the US under the Trump administration.

“I got a new chain, it says: Fuck Ice,” Chance the Rapper announced on his latest album, Star Line. Meanwhile, Finneas – the singer and brother of Billie Eilish, who produces her music – said of the Ace protest he attended in Los Angeles: “Tear gas was fired almost immediately at the very peaceful protest downtown. The Trump administration said it would “crush violent far-left terrorism” by deploying troops, but Oregon officials pushed back on that claim. Governor Tina Kotick said: “There is no insurrection, there is no threat to national security,” while Portland Mayor Keith Wilson said “we will not deal” with ACE and emphasized Portland’s “sanctuary city” status for immigrants.
