📌 **What You’ll Learn**:
Tottenham are not alone in suffering injuries, and injuries to key players, this season.
Newcastle have lost the most days of any club to injury and Eddie Howe’s side are under significant pressure as they continue to compete on four fronts.
As a result, the Magpies’ away form has suffered significantly, with Howe’s side winning just twice away from home in the league this season.
Leaders Arsenal were also among the biggest casualties in terms of days lost due to injury, and total number of infections.
However, the depth of their squad has managed to mitigate much of the impact – with the Gunners top of both the domestic standings and the Champions League stage.
Among the teams at the bottom of the English Premier League, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United were the most affected.
Collectively, the Premier League lost 2,157 fewer days to injury than at the same stage last season – although the severity of some common injuries appears to be increasing when data is examined across a full season.
According to Premier Injuries, cases of hamstring injuries fell by 23% in 2024-25, but 60% of those injuries required at least 30 days to recover – the highest percentage since they started recording such data in 2010.
