Bradford coach Kurt Haggerty told BBC Radio Leeds:
He added: “Huddersfield were really good. They showed preparation and we didn’t handle their big bodies (well) at times in the first half. They got on a roll and we struggled with that.”
“Eventually, when we got into the game we started playing our game – it took us a long time to do that, but once we grew in the game and started improving our line speed, I thought that started to turn the game around.
“I thought Jayden was comfortably the best player on the pitch. I didn’t expect a lot of magic from him, I just wanted him to defend well and move up the line, but he’s a top-class player, he was chomping at the bit to make plays.
“It’s been the difference, hasn’t it? He just needs to keep improving, keep focusing on his defense first and then the rest of his game will come.”
Huddersfield coach Luke Robinson told BBC Radio Leeds:
“We were in control in the first half, we had most of the ball. But that makes it very difficult to attack on this pitch, as it is small.
“You rarely get around people, but I felt like we had to focus a little more on our field positions, in attack we were a bit too open and didn’t do enough with the ball.
“In the second half, we made a bunch of seven tackles, they scored, we got back into it, we made a bunch of seven tackles again, they scored, we kicked one fully and that puts more pressure on us.
“If you make a set of seven tackles, we must still have the flexibility to defend that set. Work for your teammate, for the club, for the badge, for the shirt. At the moment, things are a little off.”
