Two of Sunday’s Championship matches were postponed due to icy stadiums, with a number of other fixtures canceled elsewhere in the Premier League.

The kick-off match will take place at 12:00 GMT between Sheffield United and Oxford United and the Portsmouth vs. Ipswich match at 15:00.

The Blades said in a statement that the referee looked at Bramall Lane before the start and found that parts of the playing surface were frozen.

The match at Fratton Park was postponed following a pitch inspection at 11:00 GMT.

Ten matches in the second league were also cancelled, and four other matches were canceled due to freezing weather in the first league.

In League One, Doncaster’s meeting with Luton, Barnsley’s trip to Port Vale, Rotherham’s v Mansfield and Stevenage’s v Leyton Orient on Sunday have been cancelled.

In addition to five of Sunday’s League Two fixtures that had already been postponed on Saturday, Barnet v Crewe, Barrow v Bristol Rovers, Cambridge v Grimsby, Colchester v Accrington and Newport v Tranmere failed stadium inspections.
