The treatment Ange Postecoglou is receiving from Nottingham Forest fans is ridiculous.

It actually saddens me that they are calling for him to be sacked after only seven games, and I don’t think that’s fair at all.

I covered Forest’s defeat to Newcastle before the international break. That was the result I expected, and Newcastle deserved to win too, but it still shows that all this talk about how Ange only plays one way is wrong because Forest were not open at all at St James’ Park – they tried to contain Newcastle and played on the counter-attack.

The problem they had was that they couldn’t get on the pitch, but if you were a Forest fan and watching that game, you would think Ange tried to play with a bit of poise.

Now they are at home, the onus will be on them to progress further against Chelsea, whose coach Enzo Maresca has also been under pressure this season.

Chelsea’s late win over Liverpool last time out was important for Maresca after back-to-back league defeats.

In many ways, I hope Forest win, taking the pressure off Postecoglou a bit, but I don’t see that happening.

Sutton predictions: 1-2

Edison’s predictions: Forest will put up a good fight but will be outplayed by Chelsea. 1-2

Aya predictions: The Forest coach is under pressure and this will negatively affect the players as well. 1-2
