Premier League predictions: Chris Sutton vs Ollie Fox from Good Neighbors – and the AI

This will be a great game. I was at the Etihad Stadium when the two teams met in November, a real turning point in Leeds’ season.

City were 2-0 up at half-time but Leeds manager Daniel Farke put Dominic Calvert-Lewin on and made a genuine effort.

They fought back 2-2, and although they still lost to Phil Foden’s last-gasp goal, this performance turned them around – they have been a different team in recent weeks compared to the way they started the season.

This is the game where you think, if you’re a City fan, that we have to go to Elland Road and win if we want to win the title.

Leaders Arsenal did just that a few weeks ago, beating Leeds.

Can City do the same? I’m not sure – especially if we classify the game on Saturday evening as a night game, because Leeds’ record in that game under Farke is exceptional – out of 21 games so far, they have won 18 and drawn three.

It’s hard to say, so this was one of those games I mentioned earlier where I was thinking, “What would Einstein say?”

He was better at physics than he was expected to be, but I think he would have calculated that the floodlights would inspire Leeds again – but City would still come out on top.

So, my theory is that City will win. They don’t have the same control in midfield anymore, but they have plenty of firepower – plus Erling Haaland, Omar Marmoush and Semenyu are all in good form.

Haaland isn’t playing a completely different role now, but he’s showing how intelligent a footballer he is. I don’t see Leeds keeping them out.

Sutton predictions: 1-3

Ollie’s predictions: This should be a simple game for City, but Leeds’ home game is anything but easy. Elland Road is like a castle and Leeds have scored goals in it, so I can see this is just junk. 2-3
