Crystal Palace’s match with Manchester United on Sunday at Selhurst Park will be played at 12pm (GMT) on Sunday due to TV broadcast selections.
The game was originally scheduled to take place at 12:30 PM on Saturday, according to TNT Sports’ selection of this weekend’s matches.
However, with Crystal Palace facing a trip to Strasbourg in France on Thursday evening, the match was postponed by 24 hours.
It also means that Premier League matches that were due to start at 2pm on Sunday will now start at 2:05pm, in an attempt to minimize any overlap between the end of the Selhurst Park match and the start of the three mid-afternoon matches.
There are also midweek matches taking place on the days following that weekend’s match, limiting any scope for switching matches in the schedule.
The Premier League tries not to schedule any team to play two matches within 60 hours of each other.
Palace’s meeting with Manchester United begins 64 hours after the start of their mid-week visit to Strasbourg.
Oliver Glasner’s team will then play on Wednesday away to Burnley, while United will play in midweek the following day on Thursday at home to West Ham.
