Ricardo Pepe: Fulham medical kit for PSV Eindhoven and USA striker ahead of £28.5m move

Fulham English club Manchester United is close to a deal worth 28.5 million pounds to sign PSV Eindhoven striker Ricardo Pepe, who has arrived in London to undergo a medical examination.

The 23-year-old was the subject of a similar bid in January, but the Dutch top flight club opted to keep him until the summer as they were unable to find a suitable replacement.

Fulham have now returned to finalize a deal for the USA international, who is expected to sign a contract until 2031 at Craven Cottage.

Pepe will join the Cottagers in the summer, with striker Raul Jimenez’s contract expiring at the end of the season.

PSV Eindhoven will have extra time during the longer summer transfer window to secure a replacement ahead of next season.

Pepe is expected to complete this step after the 2026 World Cup, where he is likely to participate with the United States, which is co-hosting the tournament alongside Canada and Mexico.

After starting his career in his native Texas, Pepe moved to German club Augsburg in 2022, immediately joining FC Groningen on loan in the Netherlands before earning a permanent move to PSV Eindhoven, one of the country’s traditional ‘Big Three’ clubs.

Pepe has scored 13 goals in 29 matches this season, including three in five Champions League matches.

Fulham currently ranks 11th in the English Premier League table.
