English club West Ham United announced the signing of England Under-20 national team defender, Rhea Bos, from Sporting Lisbon, on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
The 19-year-old has joined for an undisclosed fee, having spent the last season and a half at Liga BPI club in Portugal.
“I am very happy to join West Ham United,” Boz said.
“I know West Ham will help me progress as a player. This is a new start and the next step in my career.
“I bring a lot of energy. I’m an attacking full-back and I love getting up the pitch but I’m also proud of my ability to defend.”
Boz is the second signing under new coach Rita Guarino, who joined the club in December.
Guarino added: “The club has been monitoring Raya’s development for some time, so I am delighted to be able to welcome her to the club.”
“Rhea has a lot of potential. She is a dynamic full-back who can influence the game in defense and attack. She has been a regular in the England youth team over the last few years and I am sure she will continue to progress in a West Ham shirt in the years to come.”
