Russell Wilson’s wife Ciara gets a surprise 40th birthday greeting from Simone Ashley 71 days after the ‘Bridgerton’ star made his NFL debut with the singer

Ciara, wife of New York Giants player Russell Wilson, received a sweet birthday message from “Bridgerton” actress Simone Ashley on Instagram on Sunday.

Ashley shared a pair of mirror selfies with Ciara from the dressing room. Ciara was wearing a sleeveless printed outfit, while Ashley stood next to her in a stylish black crop top and jeans.

“Happy Birthday Si!!! Thank you for your kindness and generous spirit. ❤️❤️❤️,” Ashley wrote.

Ciara reposted it and added a message.

“You are the sweetest ❤️❤️❤️,” Ciara wrote.

The Grammy Award-winning singer was born on October 25, 1985 in Fort Hood, Texas.

Ashley’s shoutout came 71 days after attending her first NFL game on August 16. And I watched the Giants preseason game with Ciara in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The British actress shared photos from game day with Ciara.

“First time at an American Football game!! Good vibes…all questions. 🤔🏈 Thanks for bringing me along with C,” Ashley wrote on Instagram.

Ashley wore a matching buttery yellow Diesel set with sheer detailing at the hem. Meanwhile, Ciara was wearing Wilson’s No. 3 jersey. They met while working on the upcoming film “The Devil Wears Prada 2.”

Ciara plays the fashion executive, while Ashley plays the lead role.

The film is scheduled to be released on May 1, with Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci all returning.

Ciara sends a special message to Russell Wilson as the singer enters the 40s club

Ciara turned 40 on Saturday and took a minute to thank her husband, Russell Wilson. She posted birthday photos on Instagram, including a sweet photo of them close together.

“Baby, thank you for always making me feel on top of the world and for throwing me the best surprise birthday party! You always make every moment for me, big or small, feel special and important! You are the best!! I love you so much,” Ciara wrote on Monday.

Her Instagram post also gave fans a sneak peek at the party. Guests included NFL players Jameis Winston, Malik Nabers and Brian Burns II. Actress La La Anthony was also present along with businessman Michael Rubin and his wife Camille Fishel.

Ciara and Wilson married in a private ceremony at Peckforton Castle in England on July 6, 2016. They have three children together: Sienna Princess, Wayne Harrison and Amora Princess.

Ciara also has a son, Future Zahir Wilburn, from her previous relationship with rapper Future.
