📌 Here’s what you’ll learn:

McLaren driver Lando Norris extended his lead in the championship to nine points after winning the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, while his teammate and title rival Oscar Piastri was involved in an accident.

Piastri lost control during the third turn on the sixth lap of the race and crashed into the barriers, the latest in a series of blows to the Australian’s title chances.

The race was stopped after Sauber driver Nico Hulkenberg and Alpine driver Franco Colapinto suffered an accident in the same place. Fortunately, neither of them collided with Piastri’s car or each other.

When the race resumed, Norris held off the challenge of Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli to take the win, while George Russell’s second Mercedes finished third in front of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.

The race ended immediately after Gabriel Bortoletto was involved in a high-speed crash with his Sauber at the end of the pit straight.

Bortoletto was trying to pass Williams driver Alex Albon, but appeared to hit a wet patch on the track while braking. He hit the inside wall and then spun violently across the track toward the outside barriers.
