American Shakur Stevenson dominated Teofimo Lopez to capture the WBO light welterweight belt via unanimous decision at Madison Square Garden.

The 28-year-old, who has won all 25 of his professional bouts, is now the four-weight world champion, with judges scoring the fight 119-109, 119-109, 119-109.

Post-fight tensions were high when Stevenson called out Conor Penn, who aggressively entered the ring and exchanged words.

“You’re too young for me,” Ben told DAZN.

“We can do it then. Come to welterweight with the big dogs. You’re a small, petite man.”

Following his rematch win over Chris Eubank in November, Penn confirmed his intention to move down to welterweight and face the world champions in the division.

The 29-year-old jumped up two weight classes to fight Eubank, with the pair agreeing to a rehydration clause that prohibits putting on more than 10 pounds between weigh-ins on Friday and Saturday morning.

Penn fought at welterweight and middleweight during his career, while Stevenson moved from featherweight to light welterweight.

“I love the beef and the story behind it,” Stevenson said.

“I’m a businessman, after all, and he entered into a rehydration clause with Chris Eubank, who was in the ring almost dead. Why can’t he do the same?”

Both fighters are signed with Matchroom Boxing, which could make agreeing on a weight easier.
