Townsend is scheduled to announce the name of his team to face Wales on Thursday, as the team is currently training in Spain.

“We’re very happy with the group we have,” Horn said. “We have a cover there. “I can’t see us adding anyone.”

Matt Fagerson, who started in the opening loss in Italy, took over from Ritchie against England, with Max Williamson replacing Dempsey.

Edinburgh winger Darcy Graham, who scored four tries against Wales, also came off the bench at Murrayfield.

Dobbie’s absence could mean the return of at least one of Doohan van der Merwe or Blair Kinghorn, the popular British and Irish Lions full-back who did not feature in Round 23’s first two matches.

Kinghorn returned to the Scotland squad after his release to play for Toulouse in Sunday’s 13-9 win at Stade Francais in Ligue 1.

“The competition was very high in this area,” Horn said. He added, “The three players performed well against Italy and then performed well again against England, but Blair is a very talented player and played well for his club.”

Scotland aims to achieve its fourth successive victory over Wales, which suffered two major defeats to England and France in this year’s tournament.

However, Horne is aware of the statistics that of the seven times Scotland have played a Six Nations match after beating England, they have lost six of them.

“We don’t want to be the same old Scotland,” he said. “They all recognize the challenge.

“Wales will be in a very similar position to where we were last week. They are a wounded team at the moment and they will feel the desperation we showed last week.”

Wales is now in charge of former Scotland defense coach Steve Tandy, while former Scotland attacking coach Danny Wilson serves as assistant.

“We know how good Coach Steve is,” Horn added. “Danny is also a great coach and they will try hard to beat us.

“Steve is a very good defense coach and that’s another motivating factor – we know how good our attack is to break them down.

“But we just have to focus on ourselves and make sure we do a good job.”
