📌 **What You’ll Learn**:
Like 2026 The Winter Olympics are coming to a close, and there’s a whole new game afoot: the mad rush to make money off exclusive memorabilia. When the games are over, most of the event’s cool collectibles will become very difficult to find, as they are being looted by scalpers and bargain hunters, and are only available through online marketplaces like eBay and Vinted. And if the amazing prices already being placed on the equipment are any indication, it will be a great value.
Of all the Milan Cortina Olympics memorabilia that has appeared online so far, plush toys of mascots Milo and Tina and Swatch watches given to volunteers have proven to stand out. Pins have also proven popular, particularly Snoop Dogg’s special edition and those designated for torchbearers.
Originally, prices for Milo and Tina stuffed animals ranged from 15 to 50 euros (about $18 to $60), depending on the size. The smallest stoat toys are now up to three times their original price, and the largest are four times more expensive than they were originally. (Some can still be ordered from the Olympic Store at their original prices. But there’s one catch: As of this writing, some may not be delivered until June.)
Meanwhile, Swatch watches were given only to volunteers and were not available for sale. Never-worn samples still in the box are already on sale for anywhere from €200 to €500 ($235 to $590).
At least one Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 smartphone offered to athletes has appeared on eBay for a Buy It Now price of $1,680.
As of this writing, you can still get Olympic Games souvenir pins from the games’ official online store. Prices there start at around 15 euros, but sellers offer them at double the price. Limited edition pins from sponsors like Samsung are priced around €100 ($118). WIRED Italia spotted pins being given to Olympic torchbearers online for around €600 ($707). Also available? Replicas of Olympic medals, which start at around €50 for a single medal and from €150 to €200 ($177 to $236) for a complete set.
