Spotify has raised its subscription plan prices in the US for the third time in three years, raising the monthly plan from $11.99 per month to $12.99 per month.
The company sent an email to its paid users informing them of the new price, which will be applied starting from the next monthly billing cycle.

“Occasional price updates across our markets reflect the value Spotify provides, allowing us to continue to provide the best possible experience and benefit artists,” the company said in a blog post.
In November 2025, the Financial Times reported that the audio platform was set to raise prices in the US in the first quarter of 2026. According to the report, analysts from JPMorgan predicted that this hike could increase Spotify’s revenue by $500 million.
The company achieved similar increases in markets such as the UK and Switzerland last year.
Spotify raised prices for the first time in the US in 2023, rising from $9.99 per month to $10.99 per month. In June 2024, it achieved another increase of $1 per month in the individual subscription plan.
The company has more than 281 million paid users worldwide, 25% of whom are from North America, according to Q3 2025 results.
Besides the US, Spotify is raising prices in Estonia and Latvia.
