While home crowds in Perth were up from last season, with many fans claiming it was more fun to be at the tournament.

However, Webb noted: “The financial realities are that you need to be in the Premier League.

“In the tournament, we will lose a huge amount of money. This is not sustainable.

Of that beer, Simo went on to admit that he thought Webb was finishing him off when it was first proposed.
