✅ Main takeaway:

In addition to the changes in the dugout, the Swansea side has been overhauled repeatedly in recent windows.

There was a lack of consistency off the field as well.

There was a takeover of the club 12 months ago which resulted in the departure of chairman Andy Coleman, while Richard Montague’s brief spell as director of football ended in September.

The likes of Leon Britton, Mark Allen, Paul Watson and Trevor Birch have also held key positions for relatively short spells in recent years.

“The turnover at the club was too much,” Tate said.

“I think it needs to settle down somewhere. You can go back to what happened with Andy Coleman at the fan forum which was a real disaster, which is public knowledge.

“You look at people who say, ‘Listen to me, I’m your boss.’ No, no, you have to have the respect and trust of those people.

“It’s easy for me to sit here, in a really good job at Brondby, and enjoy what I’m doing, as a former player who has played a number of games.

“But I think I can speak for a lot of people when they just want to say: Shut up and show us how good and committed you are.” And I think if that’s your motto, you’re probably not too far off.”
