📌 **What You’ll Learn**:

Captain Wayne Madsen dislocated his left shoulder in Italy’s fourth match of the T20 World Cup.

The 42-year-old’s journey to lead Italy in their first World Cup has been one of the eye-catching stories of the build-up, as he was one of county cricket’s stalwarts for Derbyshire and a former South Africa hockey international.

But he was injured while trying to make a stop against Scotland in Kolkata and immediately left the field. The Scots scored 207-4 from 20 overs.

He will be evaluated again within 24 hours before any decision is made regarding his participation in the rest of the tournament.

Italy coach John Davison said: “The physiotherapist was able to bring him back but he will have to go and do more tests to find out how serious it is.”

“I think it would be questionable. I wouldn’t say it would come out, but I think it would be questionable if you dislocated your shoulder.”

Italy plays Nepal in Mumbai on Thursday before playing against England in Kolkata on February 16.

Their final group match will be against West Indies on February 19, also in Kolkata.
