There are a lot of wireless chargers out there. Here are some other things we like, but for one reason or another don’t guarantee a spot above.

The 18 best wireless chargers tested and reviewed

Krafted Sofa Wireless Charger, $52: I thought this wireless charger designed to be placed on the arm of your sofa was a great idea when I saw it, but the prongs failed to hold it in place on my velvet sofa, so it kept sliding down the side. The Krafted logo silicone finish is also a bit ugly. It’s just a silicone mat with a magnetic charger inside, though there’s a fairly large cable at 6.6 feet (2 metres), which is Qi2-rated. If you are always looking for a charger and one of the colors blends well with your furniture, this could be a good solution for you.

Einova Eggtronic Charging Stone for $70: Made of 100% marble or solid stone, you can choose from a variety. Every pick in this guide looks a lot like a wireless charger, but I’ve had visiting friends ask if this charger is a drink coaster. (I’m still figuring out whether that’s a good or bad thing.) It has no LEDs, and is perfect for bedrooms; Just try to hide the cable to really blend in with your home. We recommend placing a case on your phone when using it with this charger, as there is a risk of scratching the back with these hard surfaces.

The Baseus Nomos is a rectangular charging station with a plate that tilts up to support the phone

Baseus Nomos 5-in-1 charging station for $100: If you like the PicoGo W2 above but need more device charging power, this 5-in-1 might be worth a look. It also has a tilt panel and a retractable USB-C cable, but adds two additional USB-C ports and a USB-A port, as well as a screen full of stats. It’s perfect for your desktop. I also tried and quite liked the Baseus Nomos 8-in-1 Magnetic Charging Station ($70), which combines a similar foldable Qi2 pad with three US AC outlets, three USB-C ports, and one USB-A.

Rapport London Formula Wireless Charging Case for $475: Yes, that’s an outrageous price for a Qi wireless charger. You can probably make a copy for a fraction of the cost. But the Rapport’s build quality is very impressive, with a gray painted box and soft-touch fabric to keep your watches and phone scratch-free. It has reliably recharged many Android phones without making them too warm, all while providing a few hours of storage space. It’s attractive, but you’d have to have cash to burn at this price.

iOttie iOS Wireless Duo for $50: The dual charging system looks nice — I like the fabric-covered stand — and you can charge another device on the rubber charging pad next to it. The stand can be used in portrait or landscape mode, although in the latter orientation it will obscure the panel. I use the pad to pack my wireless earbuds, but I wouldn’t use this iOttie on a nightstand, because the LED on the front can be bright. A cable and adapter are included, making it good value. It can charge Pixel phones at up to 15W, iPhones at 7.5W, and other Android phones at 10W.

Journey Alti Play Performance Desk Mat for $120: This is a desk mat that also doubles as a wireless charging pad. On the left side there is a plastic rectangle with a Qi2 magnetic disk for your smartphone. Above it is a small space for charging wireless earbuds (5W). Naturally, there’s RGB everywhere, and there are two buttons you can press to cycle between modes and colours. It’s a smart-looking system, although the quality of the actual carpet leaves a little to be desired. I had no problems moving my mouse on it, and it stays in place thanks to the rubber underside, but I didn’t like the look and feel of the Lycra surface. Journey has a few other versions of this rug that use different materials, so take a look if you like the overall aesthetic.

Courant Catch: 2 Essentials for $75: Wireless chargers He should Looks nice. You shouldn’t settle for anything less! This double charger from Courant exudes luxury thanks to its surface covered in Belgian linen (especially in the camel color). I’ve used it near my front door to recharge my headphones and my partner’s wireless earbuds for two years. The rubber feet prevent it from moving, but even if it’s there We are Five files on this board, you should try to be precise when putting your device down to charge and make sure the LED is lit to double check. It comes with a color-matched USB-C cable.

Zens Liberty Wireless Charger Glass Edition is a mobile phone that sits on a small charging pad on the edge of a table

Zens Liberty Wireless Charger, $150: I tested the glass version of this wireless charging pad, and it looks amazing with the 16 overlapping copper coils on display (the standard version has a wool cloth surface). It can charge two devices simultaneously at up to 15 watts each, and there’s an optional add-on for the Apple Watch ($19). Although it is elegant, its price is quite high. Since you can see the coils, placing them is never a problem, but it’s a huge charger; The fan is audible at times, and while I had no trouble charging my iPhone or AirPods, my Pixel 6 Pro got quite warm on this pad.

Xiaomi Mi 80-W Wireless Charging Stand for $50: It’s the fastest wireless charger we’ve tested, and this stand is only worth considering for Xiaomi phones (it seems to charge most other phones at 10W or less). I tested with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which reaches 50W (some Xiaomi models can go higher). The unusual sail shape combines a white triangular section with a clear acrylic base that has a micro-groove to hold your phone in place and a gap below the exhaust grille for the noisy fan. There is a USB-C port and an LED indicator on the back.
