BBC Sport readers have chosen their team for the Ashes series.
We’ve asked you to pick 11 players that include two openers, four middle-order or all-rounders, a wicket-keeper and four bowlers.
Voting was completed during the fifth Test in Sydney.
Here are who made the cut and their series stats.
Travis Head – Australia (91%)

Innings: 10, Runs: 629, Average: 62.90, Centuries: Three
There is no doubt about this man’s choice. Travis Head stepped up to open in the first Test and dominated from the top of the order. He made 123 in Perth, claimed the series win with 170 in Adelaide and then added a fine 163 in Sydney.
Zach Crawley – England (81%)

Innings: 10, Runs: 273, Average: 27.30, Centuries: None
Bar Head, the other openers in the series have enjoyed modest returns in this series. Zak Crawley was dismissed for a couple in Perth, but made half-centuries in Brisbane and Adelaide.
Steve Smith – Australia (85%)

Innings: Eight, Runs: 286, Average: 57.20, Centuries: One
Often a feature of English nightmares, Steve Smith had a relatively quiet series at first, passing fifty and missing the Adelaide Test due to illness. However, his 138 in Sydney took the game away from England and saw him become the second highest Ashes run-scorer behind Don Bradman.
Joe Root – England (94%)

Innings: 10, Runs: 400, Average: 44.44, Centuries: Two
Feast and famine for England’s legendary batsman. Joe Root eventually reached triple figures in Australia, with an unbeaten 138 in Brisbane and 160 in Sydney, but he only passed 20 on another occasion in the series.
Harry Brook – England (68%)

Innings: 10, Runs: 438, Average: 39.77, Centuries: None
A case of what could have been for Harry Brock. The hard-hitting batsman passed 40 on five occasions in the series, but his highest score was 84 in Sydney.
Ben Stokes – England (70%)

Innings: 10, Runs: 184, Average: 18.40, Wickets: 15, Average: 25.13
A better series with the ball than the bat for the England captain. Ben Stokes was often the most threatening of England’s bowlers, showing his best 5-23 in Perth. He made half-centuries in Brisbane and Adelaide but his highest score was 19, and he was dismissed for single figures on six occasions.
Alex Carey – Australia (97%)

Innings: Eight, Runs: 323, Average: 46.14, Dismissals: 28
Default selection for the wicket-keeper position. Alex Carey has flourished behind the stumps and with the bat. After 63 in Brisbane, he played a dream Test at home in Adelaide, hitting 106 and 72 as Australia clinched the series.
Mitchell Starc – Australia (98%)

Matches: Five, Wickets: 31, Average: 19.93, Strike Rate: 29.6; Number of trips: 156
Great series for the left arm. Mitchell Starc started the series strongly, taking 10 wickets in Perth as Australia beat England within two days. He added 6-75 in the first innings in Brisbane while also contributing crucial half-centuries in the second and third Tests.
Jofra Archer – England (67%)

Matches: Three, Wickets: Nine, Average: 27.11, Strike Rate: 53.33, Runs: 102
England wanted a quick press in Australia and Jofra Archer was delivered. While his numbers did not necessarily reflect his contribution in the first two Tests, he took 5-53 in the first innings in Adelaide and later added a half-century in the Test. A side strain caused him to withdraw from the series after that match.
Scott Boland – Australia (65%)

Matches: Five, Wickets: 20, Average: 24.95, Strike Rate: 47.9
Scott Bolland’s annoying accuracy tormented England throughout the series. Thanks to the absence of Josh Hazlewood, the veteran seamer produced an impressive performance. He even opened the batting in the fast-paced Test in Melbourne.
Josh Tonge – England (43%)

Matches: Three, Wickets: 18, Average: 20.11, Strike Average: 32.4
What if he had played earlier? Josh Tongue was introduced for the third Test in Adelaide and began adding to his already impressive collection of international wickets. He took 4-70 in the second innings in South Australia and took 5-45 as England bowled out Australia for 152 on the first day in Melbourne.
