The former WWE star offers to join AEW and help Mercedes Monet

A former WWE Superstar just took to social media to offer his help to Mercedes Mooney. This comes on the heels of her recent series of setbacks, which have clearly shaken her to the core.

The CEO didn’t have the best month, losing four of her belts. She ended up dropping the ROH Women’s Television Title to Red Velvet at Final Battle, the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Title to Alex Windsor a few weeks later, and just last week on AEW Dynamite, she lost the TBS Title to Willow Nightingale.

Sydney Akeem (FKA Reggie) has taken to X/Twitter to offer his services to Mercedes Moné. He mentioned how he was just one call away and how willing he was to help. He also posted a photo from the clip they were in during their time in WWE a few years ago. They once had a very short partnership during that period.

“@MercedesVarnado I see you’re having a hard time, I’m just one call away if you need some help. @AEW 👀👀” Akeem wrote.

A major champion interested in facing Mercedes Mooney

At Wrestle Kingdom 20 yesterday, Shuri was able to walk out as a double champion after her match with Saya Kamitani. Both the IWGP Women’s Title and NJPW STRONG Women’s Title were on the line during the match.

During the interview, she mentioned how she wants to wrestle Mercedes Mooney, Athena, and Megan Payne.

If she ends up dropping the challenge for the match, the CEO could oblige, since she holds two top belts. Being a former holder of each belt, Mercedes could look to accept this match as she will attempt to rebuild her belt collection and make up for everything she lost this month alone. But there is a risk of losing her again, and her composure wavering again.
