England trio Liam Livingstone, Jamie Overton and Charlie Dean are among the London Spirit’s new signings for the 2026 Hundred season.
The Spirit, who are based at Lord’s, have made eight signings in total, with Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa and hard-hitting South African Dewald Preves joining the men’s squad.
Australian Grace Harris remains at the franchise alongside Dean, while seamer Mahika Gower and South African legend Marizanne Kapp have been added to the women’s squad that will be led by former England coach John Lewis.
Kapp, 36, joins from the Oval Invincibles and has been named The Hundred’s 2022 Player of the Final. She took 46 wickets in The Hundred, the fourth highest tally in the history of the competition.
“It’s great to be able to have players like that in women’s football,” Lewis said.
“I am delighted that London Spirit fans will see the return of two favorites in Charlie and Grace, and I know that Mahika and Marizane will provide real skill and experience to our bowling attack.”
All 100 teams are allowed to sign outright or retain four players before the auction – a new addition for this season – which is scheduled to take place in March.
Preves, 22, holds the highest individual T20 score in South Africa after smashing 161 off 57 balls in the CSA T20 Challenge in 2022. He will make his debut for The Hundred.
Livingston moves from the Birmingham Phoenix, having been named the Championship’s 2021 Player of the Year, while Overton gets the chance to build on a 2025 season when he finished as the Spirit’s leading wicket-taker.
Zampa took 30 wickets at an average of 13.13 per cent. No player has taken more wickets at a lower average.
