The megastar finally returns after 220 days on AEW Collision

Earlier tonight on AEW Collision, a big name finally returned to the company after more than seven months. They immediately faced a major roster star on their first night back.

Lady Frost has competed in many major promotions around the world, including WWE, NWA, ROH, TNA, CMLL, and All Elite Wrestling. She always wrestles on the independent circuit. She hasn’t been spotted in the Jacksonville-based promotion since June of last year. She was Thekla’s first opponent after becoming All-Elite.

The 40-year-old made her return to AEW earlier tonight at Collision, taking on Mina Shirakawa in singles competition. Tonight’s show will take place at E-Sports Arena in Arlington, Texas, as part of AEW Collision’s residency in the region for the rest of the month. This was the first time she shared a ring with Shirakawa.

As Mina Shirakawa was making her entrance, she was suddenly given flowers by the ring staff from an unknown fan. She was too busy caring about these matters to anticipate a brutal kick from Lady Frost. This was a tough start to the competition, but she managed to bounce back.

The two women then started exchanging some creative maneuvers and brutal shots. The momentum swung both ways for the majority of the match. Shirakawa saw a great opportunity and made a series of moves herself. She then capped this off with a figure four lock for the win.

It was a great match tonight at AEW Collision, as the Japanese superstar gained some much-needed momentum for herself. The question she will ask is the identity of the person who gave her the flowers. I picked these up after the game and loved them. The name that comes to mind is Orange Cassidy, as there seems to be a love triangle brewing between her and Toni Storm.
