✅ **What You’ll Learn**:
It is a mid-range phone season. Google’s $499 Pixel 10a goes on sale today, Apple announced the $599 iPhone 17e earlier this week, and now it’s nothing’s turn.
The British company – from OnePlus founder Carl Pei – announced the Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro at an event in London, following the 2026 Mobile World Congress.
After four years of operation in the mobile phone market, there is nothing lacking in a significant presence in the United States. That’s partly because it has mostly sold its phones through a confusing beta program for some time. It also doesn’t have any US carrier partners, which is how most Americans buy a new smartphone. This latest launch still doesn’t inspire confidence that the US phone market is a priority for the company, considering that only the (4a) Pro will be sold in the US.
Nothing spokesman Lewis Hopkins says the company made the decision based on which model it expected to perform best in the market. However, Hopkins an act Sure nothing is expanding its retail presence globally, having just opened a store in Bengaluru, India, with stores in Tokyo and New York City on the horizon.
The 4a, which will not be launched in the US, will cost £349, while the 4a Pro will start at $499, which is in line with the price of the Google Pixel 10a. The former will go on sale on March 13, while the Pro launches exclusively via Amazon on March 27.
There’s also nothing revealed about the Headphones A, a more budget-friendly version of the over-ear headphones that debuted last year. It will be on sale in the US for $199, starting March 13. Here’s everything you need to know.
Elite Four
The 4a series remains the most premium smartphone on the market. The (4a) phone is not much different from last year’s phone (3a), as the company claims that it has the ease of use of the phone (2a) and the artistic appearance of the phone (3a).
On the other hand, the (4a) Pro phone has a new look that differs from its predecessor. The camera module is somewhat similar to the redesigned iPhone 17 Pro, although it is still unique with its camera design and the phone’s large “Glyph Matrix” (3) on the back. Nothing suggests that the camera bump is 50 percent stronger and more resistant to abrasion, which is a good thing, because the camera glass on my phone (3a) Pro broke the first time I dropped it less than a foot off the ground.
Nothing out of courtesy
