These Bose noise-cancelling earbuds are $50 off

Bose has always been known for its active noise cancellation, and these earbuds improve on that formula with better noise reduction and a wider soundstage. Although they have the same drivers as their predecessor, Bose has made some improvements to the handling and tuning to make them sound even better. If you want to tweak the experience further, there’s a full equalizer in the app, as well as more customization settings for the touch controls and immersive spatial audio. The earphones actually use the welcome chirp generated by wearing the earbuds to adjust the sound profile to suit the shape of your ears, which is truly advanced technology for this category.

They’ve also gotten some feature improvements over the original QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, like convenient wireless charging built into the case to make charging easier. It will run for six hours on a single charge, with up to 24 hours including the charging case. That’s with ANC turned on, which you’ll likely use a lot given how good the sound isolation and pass-through modes are. Our reviewer Parker Hall specifically called out the Aware mode, which is similar to scrolling but with some smoothing to get the loudest real-world sounds.

Although the QuietComfort Ultra 2 earbuds come in a variety of colors, I’ve only seen Desert Gold at the lowest price point at $250 at both Amazon and Best Buy. The other discounted color, Midnight Violet, has a smaller discount that brings the price down to $269 at Amazon or $255 at Best Buy.
