FIFA announced on Tuesday that a wide range of performers, from actor Tom Cruise to streamer IShowSpeed, will help bring the World Cup to a close.

FIFA released the lineup for the closing ceremony, which will be held 90 minutes before the final match on Sunday. FIFA said in a statement that the show aims to “celebrate the unforgettable journey of the 48 teams” across 16 host cities in three countries.

IShowSpeed - which has broadcast several matches – is listed as a performer, while Cruise – who was also spotted in the stands performing a stunt at the Paris Olympics closing ceremony – is described as making a special appearance. The ceremony will also include performances by Italian singer Laura Pausini, who helped open the Milan Cortina Olympics in February. Tony winner and Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger; and Robbie Williams, British singer and former member of Take That.

Jennifer Hudson, who has earned the title of Egot with Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Awards, will perform the American National Anthem.

“Echoing the spirit of the opening ceremonies, which welcomed the world to the grandest stage in Canada, Mexico and the United States, the Closing Ceremony will bring the 2026 FIFA World Cup full circle through music, culture and football, before we begin the highly anticipated match that will crown the champions of this pioneering tournament,” said Hemu Cherji, World Cup Chief Operating Officer.

While Sunday will also feature the tournament’s halftime show, with a host of additional performers, closing ceremonies are not entirely new to the World Cup. The closing ceremony is produced in partnership with Balich Wonder Studio, led by Marko Balich, who coordinated the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The halftime show will feature Shakira, Madonna and K-Pop stars BTS. Coldplay’s Chris Martin is curating the show. “This will be a historic moment for the World Cup and a show worthy of the biggest sporting event in the world,” FIFA President Gianni Infantino said on Instagram.

FIFA encouraged ticket holders to arrive early, promising that fans “will have an active role to play in the show.” The show starts at 1:30 PM ET at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with the show starting at 3 PM ET.
