📌 **What You’ll Learn**:

Frank took over as coach of Tottenham, succeeding Ange Postecoglou, in June last year, and signed a contract with the north London club until 2028.

He has been under increasing pressure during his first season at Tottenham, with the club sitting 14th in the Premier League table and without a Premier League win in five matches. There were boos from fans in recent home matches, as well as chants demanding Frank’s dismissal.

However, Wednesday’s win over Eintracht Frankfurt confirmed an eighth-place finish in the Champions League table to secure a direct place in the last 16.

Frank is missing eight senior players through injury for Manchester City’s visit on Sunday, and the Dane said that leaves his team weaker than they were when the transfer window opened in January.

But he doesn’t want to become “obsessed with the short-term solution” because “that doesn’t help in the long term.”

Frank said there could be a “big summer coming” for Tottenham with improvements to their squad, but added that the realities of the transfer market are far more complex.

“The fans want the best for the club, just like me, the owners, the staff, the players. Everyone wants the best for the club.

“But the transfer window is not a manager’s football, unfortunately. It’s not. It would be a lot easier, but also a bit more boring.”

“We won’t have a lot of good stories to tell.”
