Tottenham extend season ticket deadline amid Premier League relegation fears

Threatened to collapse Tottenham They have given their fans an “extended period” to decide whether they want to renew their season tickets amid the “risk of the current league position” of their men’s team.

Tottenham gave their supporters until Tuesday, May 27 last year – two days after the end of the 2024-25 Premier League season – to decide whether they wanted to renew for the current season.

This time, the fans did just that, external Until Tuesday, May 26 – two days after the final league fixture of the season was renewed – but in a letter sent to fans, they are now given between Thursday, March 12 until Sunday, June 7 to reach a decision.

Tottenham, who have lost their past five league matches and face a trip to Liverpool on Sunday, are just one point above the relegation zone with nine games remaining.

The message sent by Tottenham to its supporters said: “We are aware of the seriousness of the current position of our men’s team in the league.”

They added that “following discussions with the Fan Advisory Board and the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust”, they can confirm that the renewal period for the 2026-27 season will now remain open for an extended period until Sunday 7 June to ensure fans have full clarity on next season prior to renewal.

Tottenham sacked Thomas Frank as coach in February and replaced him with interim coach Igor Tudor, who lost his first three Premier League matches and suffered a 5-2 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie.

“Everyone at the club remains absolutely steadfast in our collective commitment to improve our position in the Premier League and finish the current season as strong as possible,” Tottenham said.
