Tottenham Hotspur Owner Ennik does not plan to take the decision on Igor Tudor’s future out of the hands of the club’s executive team despite the manager’s poor start.

Tudor finds themselves under a lot of pressure after losing all four of their matches, conceding 14 goals in the process.

CEO Vinai Venkatesham and sporting director Johan Lange were at the forefront of the decision to appoint the 47-year-old following the sacking of Thomas Frank last month.

Tottenham, who will face Liverpool on Sunday, could fall into the relegation zone in the English Premier League at the weekend and face an uphill battle to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals after a 5-2 defeat to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.

Relegation would be a disastrous scenario for Tottenham, and Tudor has failed to halt the team’s slide towards the bottom three.

Sources have indicated to BBC Sport that the club’s owners are not and have never been involved in the day-to-day running of the club, even under Daniel Levy, allowing those on the ground to make the decisions, and will leave any communication regarding Tudor to Tottenham executives.

It is understood that the decision to sack Frank in February was taken by Venkatesham and Lange before it was ratified by the monarchy.

Of course, it remains to be seen whether Enek will decide to take matters into his own hands if Tottenham’s relegation fears worsen in the coming weeks.

The makeup of Tottenham’s internal structures has changed dramatically in recent months.

Venkatesham’s arrival in the summer of 2025 was followed by Levy’s shock departure as CEO after 25 years at the club in September.

Since Levy’s exit, the Lewis family – who effectively own Tottenham – have become more visible than in previous years while also ratifying the appointments of Fabio Paratici – who has since departed for Fiorentina – as joint sporting director and Manchester City’s Rafi Morsen as director of football operations.

Family boss Joe Louis is understood to have played a peripheral role in recent months as younger generations of the family including Louis’ children Vivian and Charlie grow more famous.

Nick Bucher – grandson of Joe Louis – was also more involved.

Following Levy’s exit, Peter Charrington, the club’s non-executive chairman, said: “This is a new era of leadership for the club, both on and off the field.

“I realize there has been a lot of change in recent months as we lay new foundations for the future.

“We are now fully focused on stabilizing and empowering the talented people we have across the club, led by Vinay and his executive team,” he added.
